CUMBERLAND — With incredible enthusiasm, Blackstone Valley Prep High School (BVPHS) is proud to announce siblings Andrew Ferretti, Chris Ferretti, and Emilia Ferretti of Lincoln as tri-valedictorians, and Mauricio Martinez of Central Falls as salutatorian. All four scholars started at Blackstone Valley Prep in 2013 as fifth graders.
Andrew will attend Northeastern University this fall for engineering. During his time at BVPHS, he was an active member of the robotics club, book club, and debate club. Chris was accepted into the ocean engineering program at the University of Rhode Island. He was an active member of the robotics club and book club. Emilia will attend the University of Pittsburgh this fall with an interest in biology/pre-med. She was an active member of the Kindness Krew and a founding member of BVPHS’s Black Student Union.
Mauricio, a first generation American and first generation college student, will attend Rhode Island College this fall on a full presidential scholarship.
Graduation is scheduled for Saturday, June 12, 2021, at noon at BVPHS.
