Our Board
As a Mayoral Academy, Blackstone Valley Prep is governed by a mayor-led board which is chaired by the mayor of one of our sending communities. Overall, our board supports our mission to prepare every scholar for success in college and the world beyond while taking on four key responsibilities:
- Financial support and oversight
- Public relations and advocacy
- Active participation in BVP-sponsored events
- Demonstration of good faith in all BVP-related activities
