CUMBERLAND — Blackstone Valley Prep High School is proud to recognize the following scholars who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on Advanced Placement Exams. In total, 20 BVPHS scholars earned 29 AP awards, including six AP Capstone Diplomas and four AP Scholars with Distinction.
The AP Capstone Diploma is awarded to students who earn scores of three or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research and on four additional AP Exams of their choosing. BVPHS is one of only four schools across Rhode Island to offer AP Capstone, a two-year program where scholars complete in-depth research papers and presentations on topics of their choosing. AP Scholar with Distinction is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. Congratulations to the following scholars:
