As a “Mayoral Academy”, Blackstone Valley Prep is governed by a mayor-led board which is chaired by the mayor of one of our sending communities. Overall, our board supports our mission to prepare every scholar for success in college and the world beyond while taking on four key responsibilities:

We are actively seeking candidates for our board. Candidates must either live in or have strong professional ties with one of our sending communities (Cumberland, Lincoln, Central Falls, or Pawtucket). If you are interested in proactively supporting BVP’s mission we invite you to contact us.
